Filed under Uncategorized or Yes I am a huge nerd

A few weeks ago I discovered which is a website that allows schmucks like me to stream live video with just a camera, computer and internet access. Here’s my page.

They also allow you to save the videos as they’re being recorded, so if you go to my profile you can watch me testing it out in my bedroom or watch me and some friends playing at my girlfriend’s art school. There were about three people watching us in real life and about 500 on the internet. What a strange time to be alive.

Aron Wright’s Nashville CD release party

So it’s been a month today since I had the Nashville CD release party for my album “In the woods”. Blogging is not my strong suit but I guess better late than never. It went better than I could’ve imagined. There were almost too many people there for that small of a space and we all had a good time(I hope) drinking wine and eating a cake that was decorated like my album art.

My younger brother Justin opened for me and did a great job as always. I love his music and his photography. was kind enough to sponsor my show and helped me by promoting the show on their website and facebook, myspace, etc. David Grant from Speakerheart even ran the door for me. If your a musician go sign up on their website now.

I also got a lot of help from the fine people at Lightning 100. Specifically Justin Hammel who was able to get my song “To the country” in for the Local Lightning Spotlight the week of my release party. I got a few people there that I’m pretty sure were bigger fans of the ukulele than they were of me. I’ll take what I can get.

here’s a few more pictures for you lamos that didn’t make it:
